Chapter Development Team

Are you interested in helping to develop, grow and support a local chapter?  We could use you.  We are looking for people who would like to help develop a chapter in their local area or another area.  You will need to research the area to find other Christian counselors and host a few events in order to get the chapter started.  If you like to make lists, interact with people, and host events, then you are needed on the Chapter Development Team.


Publications Committee

Local Chapter Correspondent
Duties: Maintain contact with local chapter presidents for the purpose of collecting any announcements that the chapter would like to present in the quarterly newsletter, and who the upcoming presenters will be for the next quarter.  Also, contact recent past presenters and upcoming presenters to inquire about interest in summarizing their presentation for an article in the newsletter.

Responsibilities: Organize the gathered information and send it to the Publications Chairperson to be presented as an announcement for the newsletter; this will include links and bios for presenters if available.  This information will be needed no later than one week prior to newsletter release.  Report results of contact with presenters to the Publications Chairperson.

Time Requirement:  Approximately 2 hours per quarter.

Annual Conference Notebook Coordinator
Duties and Responsibilities: Work in conjunction with the Publications Chairperson to develop the annual conference notebook.

Time Requirement: Approximately 4-6 hours per month during a six month period between September and February.

Skills Required: Moderate to high level of knowledge of Microsoft Word

Facebook Liaison
Duties & Responsibilities: Post regular content on the CCT Facebook page about events, meetings, and counseling information and articles. 

Time Requirement: 2 hours per month

LinkedIn Liaison
Duties & Responsibilities: Post regular content on the CCT Facebook page about events, meetings, and counseling information and articles. 

Time Requirement: 2 hours per month


Local Chapter Needs

North DFW Area Chapter and South DFW Area Chapter

Chapter PresidentThe chapter president’s duties include:

    • Acquire Venue for monthly meetings
    • Acquire Presenters for monthly meetings
    • Obtain Sponsors to provide lunches when possible for monthly meetings
    • Create email in Constant Contact for presentation and send out initial email during the first two weeks of the month and a reminder email on the Monday of the meeting.
    • Create (using template) Sign in Sheets for each meeting
    • Create (using template) CEU for each meeting
    • Create (using template) Evaluations for each meeting
    • Record Keeping: scan email printout, sing in sheets, a copy of the CEU certificate provided and all evaluations, and any handouts from the meetings into One Drive for retention.
