The local chapters of Christian Counselors of Texas focus on professional development and fellowship. Each chapter organizes its own events to meet the needs of that local group. Chapter meetings are typically scheduled during lunch time to enable members to attend without unduly impacting their work schedule. Chapter activities vary. Often chapter meetings invite speakers to present topics pertinent to integrating spiritual resources into best practice options. On selected occasions these meetings qualify for CEs. As well, chapters may have peer review sessions to exchange ideas on issues related to therapy with anonymous clients. And sometimes local members meet simply to fellowship and have a good time together. All regular chapter meetings are open to members and visitors interested in the integration of Christian faith and best counseling practices. If you would like to attend a chapter meeting or meet members in your city or area check out the local chapter information pages and/or contact the Chapter President for your area listed on the Leadership Page. Additionally, you may contact the Chairman of Chapter Development for additional information for your area. If you would like to join with others who are bringing hope and care to the communities, please Join Us here at CCT. The members of Christian Counselors of Texas look forward to working, learning, and sharing fellowship with you. |
